try that. i dont know if that will work for xp though. did you check out www.hp.com and look in their driver section. also u could sent them email requesting those drivers and see if that helps.
Hi Loi le Beau, I had replied to your earlier post, but maybe you haven't checked it. This stupid modem we both have is probably not capabl of more than 36kbs using XP !
Apparently there is an issue with the USB workings in XP and this modem wont work properly. I have searched the net for as much info on this as I could be bothered with (not using this modem any more) It has something to do with USB enumerator or something like that. There is a fix for this from M/soft but didn't work for me.
Best advice is get a serial modem and you won't have any probs.
I have tried the Taicom and the AZT drivers for this modem. I still can only get 36.6kbs speed from it. I stopped using this modem and got a Swann serial modem, it rocks! along at 50.6.
I've gotta say though,it did work well in Win98SE, just not so good in XP.
Also Hi EP and people. I found this place again while looking through a oooollllllldddd backup. I have filled over 10TB and was looking at my collection of antiques. Any bids on the 500Mhz Win 95 fix?
