With Dreamweaver?? Flash???

thats one of the links he uses, open the link then right click and View Source, you will see how he does the links.

Thanx dear...but how do I install the frame that display the image in the center?? Usually the onMouseOver Java script opens a new window...isn'it???

FrenchBerliner - this is what Dreamweaver and Fireworks call a disjointed rollover. and is quite easy to setup in Dreamweaver.

instead of rolling over the same image, you are just rolling over that middle one. the js used on that site looks like he did it by hand, but u can use the DW behavior and make your life a lot easier you would have to modify it a tad to make the last one that was moused over persistant like that site. i dunno if this is something you want to mess with or not.

here is how you set this up.

setup your page in tables or layers or whatever ur gonna use. and have an image the middle the size u want the big image to be. name that big image (in the properties inspector) something like bigImage or foo or cheeseWhiz or whatever u want to name it. it is important that you name it.

now select one of those thumbnails you have on the page. go to behaviors and select Swap Image. before you select a graphic click on that cheeseWhiz image in the list. now select the big version of that thumbnail. you should now see an astric next to the name cheeseWhiz. there ya go. u just did a disjoint rollover. now do that to the other thumbnails.

good deal, nice job! some of those images are kinda big. they take time to load, even on my screaming DSL. id suggest preloading all the big versions. and maybe compressing them a little more.
