Downloads?

I have installed xp pro and everything seems pretty cool so far, except that i used to be able to download 4,5,6 files at a time now I can only download 2 at a time. Is there a default setting or a way to change the amount of simultaneous downloads ? ANy help would be appreciated. By the way I have comcast.

Thanks for the help, but where it says click add value in the edit menu I have string value binary and so on . which do I click
