Double Booting

I have XP Pro, and I am interested in installing 98 or ME.

What is the bets way to install it and then to double boot.

Partition your hard drive, install 98 or me on the primary (C:\) partition, then install XP to one of the other partitions. Here's a link to an article about dual booting:

If you don't want to reinstall XP, then install Partition Magic 7.0 and Boot Magic and then you can install 98 with no boot problems.

don't recommend boot magic listen to lonman and just keep it nice and simple less headaches and no 3rd party software to contend with...also do a search in this forum for duel booting its been covered to hell and back.

Keeping it simple may be a valid argument but the fact is that I see dozens of posts every day from dual booters with MBR probs and I boot ME, 98SE, XP, and Linux with BootMagic with absolutely no problem.
