Doom 3...um...help?

I can't see any reason why it wouldn't run from your system specs.

What DX version you have installed? DX9b is required but I have DX9c installed. I have a NVIDIA GF3 (original) with the official 61.77 non-WHQL drivers that NVIDIA offered on their website following the release of DX9c. So far on my P4 2.4 Ghz system with 512 MB PC1066 RDRAM running Windows XP Pro SP1, I haven't had any problems.

Sorry I can't help.

hmm if that did the trick. it makes me thing something might be wrong with your cd drivers... perhaps your aspi drivers...

Just a shot in the dark but could he perhaps have a cheap drive and it doesn't like the copy protection on the doomIII cd? I've had some music cd's my known to be good drives had troubles with because the of the lame copy protection. :(

Are you sure you were using your Doom ]|[ disk to start the game? ;)

:D

Also Hi EP and people. I found this place again while looking through a oooollllllldddd backup. I have filled over 10TB and was looking at my collection of antiques. Any bids on the 500Mhz Win 95 fix?
Any of the SP crew still out there?
