Does anyones Kazaa-lite work?

Mine has not worked for 2 days. It says contact the

Kazaa lite company on the error message. I have

uninstalled and reinstalled it. It still doesn't work.

It seems like every time I change something or add

something on my PC some other setting changes. Is

this true? Thanks

Don't use it myself, but did you install any firewall software/hardware recently? Maybe the WinXp built-in firewall got turned on?

The oringinal kazaa lite doesnt work, Kazaa Lite Resurrection is what you need now.

well I'm not sure I need more info...are you behind a router?
since you didn't install sp2 do you have another firewall installed?

I am not behind a router. I have a

firewall on. K-lite worked before with it on. I didn't

turn XP firewall on. I didn't install SP2. I turned off

Spy Sweeper. It still doesn't work. I am going to try

Kazaa resurection next. Thank you all for your

Spy sweeper might've removed some of the 'dummy' files necessary for Kazaalite to work. Try restoring the backup Spy Sweeper should've made when you scanned.

Hmm, I think dream ^ is right, I recall something about AdAware or SSD saying it would bake the KazaaLite files and you had to set it to ignore anything in the Kazza folder...SpySweeper prob already removed it. You should be able to restore it, and then tell SpySweeper to ignore that folder in the future.

I turned off Spy Sweeper. I

uninstalled Kazaa Lite + +. I installed Kazaa Lite Resurrection. It should have put

dummy files in my PC if it needed them to work. It still doesn't work. Any

suggestions?

I turned off my firewall.

KAzaa still doesn't work. My firewall was the one in "system mechanic Pro 4".

I ran Spybot. K-Lite R still doesn't work. I ran system restore a couple of

days ago. Could that have done something? I am going to turn my AV off

next.

My kazaa lite k++ still works you dont have to have resurrection. Im behind a router and have normal settings, not outside dmz or anything special.
