DNS Servers

I am having a problem getting the DNS servers to update my subdomain, I have waited over 40 hours. I have tried deleting it and recreating it. I have uploaded my files, but it will not let me access the files because the DNS is not recongnizing my subdomain. Is there a way to force the DNS servers to reconignize my subdomain? Thanks.

I figured it out, FYI for anyone else having this problem, make sure that you change your DNS information on the website that you bought your domain name from. I have to wait for 24 hours or so, but I think that will solve my problem.

Urhm, sorry to say but the first thing you do when zou get hosting is point your domain at the new DNS servers from the hosting company, this can take 24 - 48 hours.
