DivX Problems...again.

Whenever I download an instance of DivX Player, whether Pro, basic, or whatever, it either gives me an illegal error at the very beggining, or if I try to load it up, it dies there, or if I try to get to a certain point in the moive, it also freezes. I'v tried installing new codecs, etc, still nothing, I'v tried reinstalling, no luck. Does anyone have any recomendations on a good software program that plays DivX and AVI movies?

try uninstalling all codecs and get the Nimo Codec Pack ..
