DivX Problem

Hey!

I have a divx .avi file and when I play it I get perfect picture but no sound? I have the DivX Codec already installed & all my other DivX .avi's work perfect. Any help? I also tryed getting the file again.... still happens

divx codec has nothing to do with audio, you need the audio codec for that movie, you can discover what codec is with Gspot

probably what you need is an ac3 codec, in this case try with this

i have the 8 build and it has no problems for me

Yes i also found version 8 was buggy for me too on installation,i installed all the codecs separately including the xvid one,like Burpster says try 7 not 8 first from here Codecs

ps.They do a lite version of the codecs on the website too,Version 9 is coming any day now Nimo says.
