Divx Movie skipping

Hi! Can anyone help me with this problem. Almost all the movies i watch have skip. It skip at some scenes and i wanna know how to fix this. I have a pentium 2 ghz, 256 pc-800 ram, and 48x cd-rom and i think thats fast enough to watch divx

Well divx need a 400mhz or better processor to run. I have a 433mzh with 320megs of ram and it still kind of skips. But if you are running them from cd to copy the cd to the harddrive and run the movie from your harddrive. That works alittle better. But then u could convert the divx to .mpg but i dont suggest that cause it takes to long.
