I just downloaded a divx video but WM is unable to play the soundtrack cause it can't find the right decompresor.

I have divx 5.02 installed. Is it my config that's wrong or it's a bad file?

Divx is only the video, usually the audio is compressed using mp3... can you play those?

Visit www.download.com and look for the DivX bundle and download that and then try and open the video. It should play the video. Let me know if this helps?

The mornig i wrote my first message, i had downloaded divx 5.02 bundle from www.divx.com and it wasn't working :(

hey, it probably is because you don't have the ogg vorbis codecs installed.. look for them anywhere... many divx's are encoded with that now

no prob! :) glad i could be of help... i had the same problem with a few... almost deleted them! :)

Also Hi EP and people. I found this place again while looking through a oooollllllldddd backup. I have filled over 10TB and was looking at my collection of antiques. Any bids on the 500Mhz Win 95 fix?
Any of the SP crew still out there?

Impressed you have kept this alive this long EP! So many sites have come and gone. :(

Just did some crude math and I apparently joined almost 18yrs ago, how is that possible???
