displaying current winamp tune

im using listen-to.com at the moment, but im not keen on id tagging all my mp3s? i know there's easy ways, but u got to check them all, do them on all your downloads, etc.. its hard work basically and there's got to be a better track name broadcaster thing?

also, listen-to matches the tune with one thats already listed, so the name screws up. id prefer to keep it tidy, and have it working how ive named the files, not have it all named wrong by someone else!

do you know any? maybe something i could run and host myself?

id prefer it if is was from filename, not id tag?

any ideas?

Hmm, the plugin I use (DoSomething) reads the name that is in the Winamp playlist, if that is the filename, it reads the filename, if a IDv1 or 2 is available it reads that tag. This requires however a costum created (php) script. For more information, I would like to refer you to Guide: Winamp 'Now Playing'.
