display problems.

My computer won't let me change the resolution from 800x600 and 4 bit color quality. I'm not in safe mode, I rebooted many times, and I've gone in circles through the troubleshooter but I can't find out the problem. Im running windows XP home edition on a gateway EV910c monitor witha geforce4 ti 4200.

if you could help id greatly apprectiate it.

have you checked your vidcard drivers. Try updating them to the latest version.
