disk crash on a workgroup - may i have cached files on my computer?

hi, running a workgroup of 3 pcs. 1 with w2k pro sp2 - and the other 2 with win98. One of the win98 pcs crashed (the disk went rip), so the info has gone too...So i was wondering if i may have some cached files on my win2k pc that i used to open on a daily basis from the crashed win98 pc.

I don't think NetBIOS has a cache like Temporary Internet Files does for web pages. If there is i have no idea where they would be kept.
