Disabling Windows Messenger....

Hi Guys,

How do I disable Windows Messenger from starting up when I startup Outlook Express? I tried doing it from he registry (HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Microsoft\Outlook Express\Hide Messenger, then changing the value to 2) But that doesn't work, is there somewhere else I can go into and modify? Windows Messenger is version 4.7.2005

P.S. I do not use or even have installed MSN Messenger.

there is an option in outlook to diasble it, otherwise use this:

Uninstall messenger

To do so click run. Then Type:
RunDll32 advpack.dll,LaunchINFSection %windir%\INF\msmsgs.inf,BLC.Remove

or go into program files\messenger and rename the file to "MessengerOFF" and that should take care of it.
