Disabling Multiple Monitor

this is retarded but i need to know how to shut off multiple monitor, ive gone through windows help but it blows...

any help is appreciated!

do you have multiple monitors? or is it cos the new Nvidia drivers (happened to me), I just disabled it in control panel, there should be something called Nview. Other wise go to display properties, select the monitor you wanna turn off, and deselect "Extend my windows desktop to this monitor"
