disabling auto-logon in windows messenger?

is there a way to disable auto-logon in windows messenger? everytime i go on it logs on to an account, and thats getting annoying becasue many people use msn messenge on the same user account with different e-mails!! is there a way to stop it from logging on to an account automatically? thanks!!

If you sign out after you have finished using the computer , does that help ?

no, it still logs on to an account everytime i go on messenger =(

logout of messenger... then log in *using different nick*... and tell it *not* save password

that doesnt work either, i deleted all the accounts from the control panel/user accounts/manage net passwords

Have you got MSN as your home page, if so, change it, as this happened to me some time ago, so I changed back to AOL as my home page. Strange but true.

From the messenger window click tools
then click options
then click Preferences
then uncheck where it says "Run this program when Windows starts.

that doesn't do anything either, i deleted all the accounts in the useraccounts part of control panel & then it worked
