I want to re-install directX but can only find downloads for other operating systems. Ive tried the windows 2000 file - which didnt work, and also have looked on Windows Update.

Could anyone post an URL or tell me where to find the file?

try www.driverquide.com you have go thru a registration form,
but it's free and only takes a minute or two to fill out. i checked and they seem to have several diff direct x files. just do a search
for direct x. hope this helps!

Of course it doesn't work. You used the letter q instead of g.

What about getting it off the xp installation disk? It would have to be on there.............somewhere.
