What is the difference between winxp pro retail, oem, vlm?

The VLM is definitely the most used. I don't know about the rest.

pro retail is the normal version you buy in stores
pro oem is the version pc companies ship with a new bought pc
pro vlk (Volume License Key) is the version for large companies which have licenses to install the windows version on a big number of pc's instead of 1...

i also just found winxp media centre edition. I know it obviously has new features but can it also do all the things normal xp pro can do?? thanks
