I was wondeering if there is a big difference between the Palomino and Thoroughbread processors. I just bought a 2100+ Palomino and am wqondering if I made big mistake...and if I did, how big?
thanks

Depends on what you plan on using it for. The MP chips are made for dual processing (although they will work as a single chip as well)

Thoroughbread are better cooled and because of this cooling can overclock a little bit farther.

I just read that the Palomino 2100+ has to be unlocked manually tp be ableto o/c it by connecting the L1 bridge, is that true? grr what a pain in the arse

Also Hi EP and people. I found this place again while looking through a oooollllllldddd backup. I have filled over 10TB and was looking at my collection of antiques. Any bids on the 500Mhz Win 95 fix?
Any of the SP crew still out there?
