Dial up autostarts

I have 2 XP machines (Host is XP Home and client is XP Pro) networked via crossover ethernet cable. If I boot the client after the host it dials up my internet connection automatically and I can't find anything loading at startup which would cause this. Is this normal?

if you have ICS turned on, and the host is on when your turning on the client it is trying to initiate the connection to the internet through ICS therefore causing the dialing...atleast I think thats right..you'd think as a net tech i'd be able to remember this stuff but work has friend my brains heheh.

Also Hi EP and people. I found this place again while looking through a oooollllllldddd backup. I have filled over 10TB and was looking at my collection of antiques. Any bids on the 500Mhz Win 95 fix?
Any of the SP crew still out there?
