Desktop Web Item

I have a web item on my desktop with a link to the counter on my business website. What I want to know is how to get rid of the white border around the counter. I have tried everything I know to do (other than painting the screen blue)

is the image of your counter and normal <img> if so try putting border="0" in the tag

you could also try resizing the frame that the counter that the counter is in. Although i'm sure that you already tried it. if not, unlock the web content: Desktop Properties>Arrange Icons>Lock Web Content, then resize. then relock.
