Desktop Icons

Howdy folks,

Does anyone happen to know how to make the desktop icon's background color transparent? This would be very helpful to me. I keep having to change the color myself to better match whatever current wallpaper I am using. Any help will be appreciated. Thanks in advance.

Rightclick My Computer > properties > advanced > performance settings > check "use drop shadows for icon labels on desktop"
Also rightclick desktop > Arrange Icons by... > make sure "Lock desktop icons" is not checked.
