Here's a quick question for everyone :)

Does anyone know the root extension in the registry for the windows desktop? As I tend to get alot of icons there, and frequently farm them to specific shortcut subfolder - I thought it might be easier to make a command so that any shortcut that is selected can be click moved to the C:\QA dir.

Good article, MS, but I'm trying to find the Desktop key so I can add a shell\command\ to the context menu.

Obviously the Desktop is a folder therefore it doesn't have a spot in the registry for what you are looking to do.

You could, however, modify the extension for LNK and add your command there.

aah, now there's an idea..

I'll have to try it and see if that works.. thats for the suggestion anyway mm.. if it all goes OK I'll give you +rep

Also Hi EP and people. I found this place again while looking through a oooollllllldddd backup. I have filled over 10TB and was looking at my collection of antiques. Any bids on the 500Mhz Win 95 fix?
Any of the SP crew still out there?
