Desktop Calender

I am not sure if this is the correct area for this but I am going to put it here anyway. I was noticing that on a lot of the desktop pictures that people send they have calenders on them. I have looked around and found a couple but they all stay in the foreground, another words you can see em all the time even with a window open. I was wondering if there is a program or something for those calenders that does not stay in the foreground or some other way to get a calender on the desktop. Any help would be great. Thanks.
