Are you able to find the files you deleted using (shift) + Delete?

Not unless you have Norton Protection installed and enabled.

Using SHIFT+DELETE by passes the recycle bin. But always remember, just because you delete something doesn't mean it's gone *wink*

Correct, if used SHIFT+DELETE those files are gone, only way to recovery them is to use third party software like Easyrecovery

Restoration is one program you could try.
