You can also type this in Run...
RunDll32 advpack.dll,LaunchINFSection %windir%\INF\msmsgs.inf,BLC.Remove

I always used XP Antispy and uninstalled using that.

I find messenger extremely useful...why would you want to uninstall it?

cause most people dont like it or just dont use messengers. So they dont want to have it on there computer. Msn Messenger is better than Windows Messenger for a coule reasons.
