delete my pics and my music

I'm going crazy!!!

Can any of you tell me how to get rid of the "my pictures" and "my music" folders in winxp? Thanks

Pretty sure you cant get rid of them but i know you cant show them!

Do this...

Right click on either one,properties,at the bottom there is an option to check 'Hidden', check that and click ok!

Then go to tools, folder options,and under Hidden Files And Folder, choose, 'Do Not Show Hidden Files And Folders'

those folders really piss me off..LOL...they aren't mapped in the registry as a system folder so there is no way to actually rid your self of them. One good way is to move them to a different folder named "Stay away" (at least that where I put em) and disable SFC, they will remain tucked away in their hidding place then.

"My Music" folder is linked to Windows Media Player. Just set the option to another folder and "My Music" won't appear anymore. "My Pictures" have no idea how to get rid of it. I used TweakUI and made my default "Picture" folder a different folder, now "My Pictures" doesn't appear anymore.
