ok, i have a co worker tht is running XP PRO. ( created this image with ghost. i have the exact image and works fine) my problem is that when i go to computer mangement and select device manager it tells me that i dont have enought privileges to access this. This computer is connected to a domain and he is in the following groups: administrator locally, domain admin and his domain user name log in.

He can do anything alse that a normal administrator could do excelt that. he can change his IP install software crete users etc.... please help. thanks IDLE

i found out the problem. i needed to give the user access to a policy named load and unload devices. i just added their domain user name group to this policy.

pheeewww finally got it. been working on it all afternoon. this was my last resort :D :D :D :D :D

Also Hi EP and people. I found this place again while looking through a oooollllllldddd backup. I have filled over 10TB and was looking at my collection of antiques. Any bids on the 500Mhz Win 95 fix?
Any of the SP crew still out there?
