defrag shutdown to low power

I had about 33% (1 hour) of battery life left in my laptop.
Tries to run defrag and it refuse to run, stating low power.
Is there a way to force it? I can't believe 1 hour is not even enough to complete a low defragmentation drive.

Have you tried to run the Defrag at different levels of battery life... 40%, 50%, 70%, etc... to see if it will run at those levels?

Did you have any "AntiVirus" Software running in the background?

If so, shut off the "AntiVirus" proggy and try to run Defrag again.

It will run at above 30%+, after hitting the 33% level it will stop and prompt to exit.
I think its a defrag configuration, I wonder where to turn it off.

the computor also clocks down when on batteries to save juice.

it's making sure it can complete the process.

when you stop a defrag, the os will complete the file it's working on before it stops.

this is not possible if the batteries die.

therefore, the os will not begin the operation if there is any doubt that it can complete.

I think this is a good featurem and if is possiblt to change this, I would not

Any of the SP crew still out there?
