DDR2700 or DDR2100?

I building a new system using a Biostar M7VIT board which uses the Via KT400/VT8235 chipset.
I'm going to be using an AthlonXP 1800 Thoroughbred processor.

What I am wondering is if it is worth paying more to get the DDR2100 (266) ram or the DDR2700 (333)?

The board supports DDR200/266/333/400 but I don't plan on getting the DDR3200 (400) cause from what I've been reading it's not worth the extra money. However, I'm wondering if there is a significant performance difference between DDR2100 and DDR2700 in the setup I would be running:

Biostar M7VIT
AthlonXP 1800 Thoroughbred
Seagate Barracuda IV ata100 7200rpm
Nvidia Geforce4 mx440 64mb ddr agp8x or agp4x (haven't decided yet)

So is it worth it going with DDR2700? Or is the best price/performance choice DDR2100? I'd be going with generic memory too.

Thanks!

Two reasons to buy the pc2700 :-

Going to overclock your cpu

Planning to buy a 333fsb cpu at a later date

if not go pc2100

The difference in price between PC2100 and PC2700 was marginal last time I checked. Go for 2700.

Also Hi EP and people. I found this place again while looking through a oooollllllldddd backup. I have filled over 10TB and was looking at my collection of antiques. Any bids on the 500Mhz Win 95 fix?
Any of the SP crew still out there?
