DDR Ram question (and it may be a stupid one)

As you can mix PC100 & PC133 memory can you mix PC1600/2100/2700 DDR Ram? Sorry if it is a daft question but my knowledge on DDR ram is pretty poor at the minute.
Thanks in advance for your help.

p.s. The mobo I am considering IS capable of 2700(333) memory.

Yes u can mix ram, it will always run at the lowest speed.

do the ddr333 boards support 200? i know they support 266.

I tried that a couple of times, and always the machine locked up after a while.

I advice agaist it.

The new motherboards should be backwards compatable.
If your getting lockups then "tweaking" the bios is probably in order.
