i also have had the odd sparadic error, nothing i can replicate, and a refresh always fixes it :suprised:

yep as everyone else, getting quite a few database errors but they eventually go away. I think the longest downtime was 10 minutes so not too bad considering

It is because right now the site loads over the net basically.

This server from where you are reading this, contacts the new server to get the stuff you are currently reading. The internet is not perfect, and the servers are in different datacenters, hiccups can happen.

It will go away once the move is complete.

Don't know if this is to do with the server upgrade, but when I try to upload an attachment, I select the attachment I want, click upload and I then get a DNS error message.

You could be in the middle of updating to the new address.

Edit: Tried to upload a 354K photo without any luck, the progress bar on IE at the bottom gets to about 25% and then I get a DNS error

Weird, did you try a different browser yet? I am getting no problems at all using IE, Firefox, Mozilla, Safari, Konq, and Epiphany.

I've tried Firefox as well as IE. It works for smaller attachments, but anything over about 100k it falls down on

Maybe a small tweak we need on the php config.
