Data Transfer

I'm starting a new build of my computer, and found a 500 gig hard drive, pretty cheat (99.00). My problem is some data on my old drive I wish to keep but, my Visa program has a problem playing vwa files which I do not want transfer to a clean drive, alright you great computer minds, I have all ready checked my codec files and reinstalled them, these files can't be viewed but audio plays fine, any ideas, thanks.🙄
