DAT extension

some files are compressed with DAT how can I open it?I have tried Winrar.

Have you tried renaming the dat to rar or zip?

no I don't think that DAT can be opened by winrar this extension is found on PS2 games,what i want is simple I want to rip off one of my games' music.
the game MGS-2 has 2 folders with 5 files end with dat.
