I have this zip file with e-mails, very important, and it is damaged. I tried to repair it with Zip Recovery, but it didn't work out.
I am very worried because it's a 40 mb file.
If anyone have a suggestion, I am all ears.
Usually when you try to open a ZIP file it will write the extracted files to a TEMP Folder first. If the ERROR was a CRC ERROR (it usually is) then when the Error Window pops up don't close it, search for the temp folder. I am not sure where XP would put it. In Win 98 it was in the usual TEMP Folder. When you find it just copy everything to another FOLDER of your choice and then close the ERROR Window. I wish I could tell you where the Temp Folder is but if the E-Mails are that important then searching for it might be a nessesity.
Ep, glad to see you come back and tidy up...did want to ask a one day favor, I want to enhance my resume , was hoping you could make me administrator for a day, if so, take me right off since I won't be here to do anything, and don't know the slightest about the board, but it would be nice putting "served administrator osnn", if can do, THANKS
