Hi,

After installed Windows Xp, i noticed that my Ethernet Card (D-Link DFE-538 TX 10/100 Adapter) is not compatible with Windows XP. So i visit D-Link official website(http://support.dlink.com/downloads/) and found that there is no XP driver for that Card. However, there is DFE-538TX(Canada Only). I am from Malaysia, so does it mean i can't use that driver ??

The system detected Realtek RTL8139 Family PCI Fast Ethernet NIC as my ethernet card but not D-Link DFe-538 TX.

My Computer > System Properties > Device Manager > Device Manager> My Computer Name > Network adapter >Realtek RTL8139 Family PCI Fast Ethernet NIC

So what should i do ??

Is the card working properly? Is there a Question Mark on it in the Device Manager or an Exclamation? If not and there are no D-Link Drivers for XP then use what XP has installed for it. That is if all is working correctly. Sometimes compatability is the same. :D

No Question Mark at all. I think the card isn't working properly, when i trasfered data the connection was really slow.

Also Hi EP and people. I found this place again while looking through a oooollllllldddd backup. I have filled over 10TB and was looking at my collection of antiques. Any bids on the 500Mhz Win 95 fix?
Any of the SP crew still out there?
