I would like to request if three of my custom vB codes could be added to XP-Erience.org's Forums.

The three codes are IM codes. They allow for people to put a link in their signature for you to click on which will add their screename to your buddy list.

The codes I have are for AIM, ICQ, and Yahoo! Messenger. If you are interested in adding them, PM me and I will send them over.

ICQ and Yahoo!, yes. AIM, no.

Aim uses a different addressing scheme (aim:addbuddy?screenname=blah). It requires a special code.

If you let me know the codes, I guess I could add them!
A messenger one would be cool too, I guess.

Yeah I know. AIM recently changed the coding when they added the AIM Personal Bar when 4.7 came out.

I had to send it via email :( PM was too big. Sorry about that.

Oh, okay....

Damn AOL.

Yep. It's just AOL's method of trying to make their software proprietary. MSN did that for a while with netmeeting. If you wanted to add a contact to netmeeting, the code was

netmeeting:\\email@address.com

Now, it's something like netmeeting::\email@something.com (or something like that). MSN Messenger doesn't even allow html linking! I think they should all just stick to http and keep it simple.

ok, added those no problem...

could you please test them below and confirm that they work :)

Also added a new one, while I was at it, that I often feel is missing from forums ---- [ center ]

Woohoo :D

Well its easy to amuse you lot isn't it??

I'll wait until you are all feeling down in the dumps then add <MARQUEE>

OH PLEEEASE. :D

We can make our sigs scroll along the bottom. WEEEEEE!!! :p

Is there a way to make the dividing line between what we post and our sig longer?

Also Hi EP and people. I found this place again while looking through a oooollllllldddd backup. I have filled over 10TB and was looking at my collection of antiques. Any bids on the 500Mhz Win 95 fix?
Any of the SP crew still out there?
