CS Problem

I have HL: Generation ( I updated it)..i CAN'T play it online why? I can get into chat only...it says connecting bal bla then retrying 4 times and finally DC.

be more specific on the problem... what did the error massage say? did u fully updated to the lastest version?

I am using dial up? is that a big problem? firewall is turned of,
like I said..it says connecting......then retrying.....
then time out!

dialup shouldnt be your problem, although it'll take you a while to get into some servers.

Most game server will have a limit on how long you are able to try and connect, most are between 250 and 500 seconds. To keep the server from being bogged down. Not really sure if this is an option with CS though. But have seen it in other game servers
