CRX140E - Sony

Does this CD RW drive work with generic MS drivers in XP or do you need to obtain the drivers from sony?

Sony's site seems sketchy to say the least on XP information for this drive.

Hi, i have no problem using the Sony CRX140E under Windows XP, Windows XP does have the correct drivers 😛

Mine worked too....

Right off the bat with a fresh install of XP Pro! But installed Nero anyway since that's my Rock of Gibralter !

Me too , i have 160E and works fine with XP drivers . . . 🙄

I have some driver problem too with that burner!!!
