I am trying to figure out if I should upgrade from the XtremeMusic version to the XtremeGamer Fatility version when I buy 2GB more memory and a new DX10 video card. Ohh, I wonder.

madmatt, I would stick with the XtreameMusic version of the card. Personally I feel that the other cards are simply a rip off. No games use the onboard ram of the card and the XtreameMusic version actually does have a small amount of it onboard as well (around 2MB I think), its just not advertised.

Unless you absolutely see yourself using that ridiculous front panel (who wants to plug their digital connections into the front of their computer?) Then I really do not think its worth the extra money. Prices of the Gamer version have dropped since the release of the card, but I still don't think the delta justify's the "gain" you receive also considering you already have the music card...
