Hi all,

does anyone knows / owns a tutorial on how to create an unattended installation of Windows XP Professional Corporate?

If not, any bits and pieces, any tips, or any info on creating the unattend.txt is welcome

The unattended installation utility has gotten a shitton easier with XP. All you need to do is go to your XP cd then look for setupmgr.exe in the support.cab, make sure you get the dll with it too. Then just run that and it will take you all the way through.

One thing to watch is that it likes to set the autopartion flag to 1 meaning enabled. So change it to look like this

autopartion = 0

Another good resource is www.i386.com/unattend

Also Hi EP and people. I found this place again while looking through a oooollllllldddd backup. I have filled over 10TB and was looking at my collection of antiques. Any bids on the 500Mhz Win 95 fix?
Any of the SP crew still out there?
