Thanks for the info on what settings to use for restore points. Question, how do you create a restore point or does windows do that automatically. Again thanks for all the help.

start run %SystemRoot%\System32\restore\rstrui.exe
& follow the instructions

To set a restore point. First click> START> PROGRAMS>ACCESSORIES> SYSTEM TOOLS> SYSTEM RESTORE.

Then you will see this window.

Click on *CREATE A RESTORE POINT*. Then click *NEXT*.

Then type in whatever name you want for the restore point. Then click *CREATE*.

XP will create the restore point and then click *CLOSE*. That's it. :D

XP also creates Restore Points every time you shut down (Complete shut down, not a reboot).

Hey, pictures and words. That always works. :D

Nice work Gonaads. But the question is: Are you gonna do that for everyone?

Also Hi EP and people. I found this place again while looking through a oooollllllldddd backup. I have filled over 10TB and was looking at my collection of antiques. Any bids on the 500Mhz Win 95 fix?
Any of the SP crew still out there?
