Cream color in Photoshop cs 2

anyone have any idea as to why White is represented as Cream and all other colors are skewed in PS? The photos turn out fine but while in the program they appear off colored. Doesn't make any sense to me. I Sketch Book Pro, and don't have the problem with that. Wondering if it's something that PS does now that I didn't know.

Euro, i have had the same issue, and to be honest could never fix it, even after uninstalling and installing, perhaps adobes own forums have an answer.

Back in the PS 5.5 days i remember Adobe installing system color profiles for monitors.

it loaded the profile on startup i believe.
not sure what the new PS does.
