Hello again,i have a Lite On AA280-via kt333 mainboard .
The prob is,in the bios it shows cpu 1152?

The cpu is a xp athlon 1800!!
DOES ANYONE KNOW?if the board supports that speed?

Or is there something i missed in the bios setup?
jumper setting etc?

Many thanks, hope to hear from you!!!

You need to set your FBS to 133MHz in the bios.

make sure your mobo is set to jumper-free mode

It says in the bios that the current FSB is 100MHz.
Carnt find the option to change it,or i,ve missed
something?help

You have to change the CPU speed setting from AUTO to MANUAL and then set the FSB speed by pressing the - or + keys, or with some other BIOS the PageUp and PageDown.

Also the 1800 number of your processor does not relate to MHz. according to AMD the XP1800 operates at 1.533GHz

therefore set the FSB at 133MHz and the CPU clock multiplier to 11.5

The fsb is not highlighted in the bios, there is no clock multiplier
THERE IS 3 JUMPER SETTINGS ON THE MOBO.

1.clear cymos
2.bios protect ,disable that!!
3.cpu frequency,that is set at 133mhz??

Also Hi EP and people. I found this place again while looking through a oooollllllldddd backup. I have filled over 10TB and was looking at my collection of antiques. Any bids on the 500Mhz Win 95 fix?
Any of the SP crew still out there?
