Oh wise computing gurus,please help me!

Is there any way to lower my CS ping times?I am stuck with a 56k modem(cannot get cable out here in the sticks)and am suffering!! I can't even connect to any server part of the time.

The ISP you are using can play a big part of your ping, over here BT is really bad for CS games, whereas NTL world is ok.

You should also checkout Gamespy Arcade if you are still using the internal HL browser.

look at the csnatin forums. there was some lag scripts in there about 2 or 3 months ago. you will have do do some looking but there there.
