Counter Strike behind Router

Hi Guys,

Does Counter Strike: Source need ports forwarded on my router?

If so, which ones?

I dont think the game itself needs any ports forwarded to operate as a client, I think 27015 needs to be forwarded if you are acting as a server.

The Steam Friends Network thinger needs port 1200 forwarded though

I have disabled my firewalls to no avail. So I am thinking that it might be my router.

Taken from support page:

The following ports must be open in your firewall and router for Steam and Steam Games to work:
[font=Verdana, Helvetica]UDP 1200 (used for friends service)
UDP 27000 to 27015 inclusive
TCP 27020 to 27050 inclusive[/font]

Computers running Dedicated Servers need these ports open:

UDP: 27015 and 27020 (default HLDS, SRCDS and HLTV port)
TCP: 27015 (SRCDS Rcon port)
