Counter-Stike freezing when exiting...

i have a 1.3 ghz t-bird, 512 RAM, and i when to logg in the Admin profile enable the QoS and put the limit to 0, and im sure its enable in my network properties, i got the latest offical driver for my card (Hercules Prophet II MX) 32MB. And when i play cs its cool (tight game) and when i exit the game the computer freezes on me, but i could still move my mouse, and its cuz stuck, i cant click on any icons.

i have halflife lastest patch the v18 i think and the lastest cs 13 ???

my friend had this problem.

all he does now is exit cs using this

in console type: exit

thats it. it takes you straight to the desktop...no clicking done, yes disconnect, ect.

Seems to be an issue with Geforce2s and 32bit colour desktops.

yah, i got a GF2 and 32bit, 1028x768 resolution with 85 hz refresh. And ill try the ~ exit command in console

Reducing to a 16bit desktop seemed to have solved it, tho I am currently running in 32bit mode with the 27.42 drivers and it hasn't crashed for ages.
