Could you help me find a good under-$600 laptop?

I am finally in the market for my first new notebook and would love to have some help from my good buddies here! What is the best computer in the under-$600 range. This will be more or less so I have a portable computer when staying at hotels, with family, or just to keep in the bedroom.

What it must be:

• Sub-$600
• Powerful enough to do the more basic functions like web pages, word processing, casual games with minor 3d elements (Zuma, Wik, Puzzle Quest), and 2D console emulators
• Wireless G
• Four USB ports
• DVD Burner

What would be a plus but aren't absolutely necessary:

• Expansion slots
• Multiple cores!
• Built-in camera
• Glossy screen
• Wireless N

What doesn't matter to me at all:

• Battery life
• Size
• Weight
• Accessories
• RAM (as long as there's room to install my own! Cheaper that way)
• Operating system (got a couple Vista licenses to play with)

kick-ass laptop, but it would be hard for me to recommend that to someone who doesn't care about size. he could get a traditional 14" or 15.4" laptop that's considerably faster for the same amount of money or less.
