Hello, my friend is a bedroom DJ. He purchases all his MP3s legally from legal download sites. He uses these purchased tracks in his mixes which are usually 70-80 mins long. He then uploads them to his webspace and puts links to them on various trance DJ forums. My question is...is he breaking any copyright laws?...because his host has shut him down telling him that his mixes are breaking copyright laws.

All help would be appreciated

Thanks Colin

if tey are your mp3's email his ISP and say that you have greanted permission for him to use them.

if he jsut bought them off the ent somewhere then yes he is unless he gets written permission form the creator.

Also Hi EP and people. I found this place again while looking through a oooollllllldddd backup. I have filled over 10TB and was looking at my collection of antiques. Any bids on the 500Mhz Win 95 fix?
Any of the SP crew still out there?
